From the Workshop Floor to Industry Leader: The Journey of Sende's Founder
Mr. Zhao Liyun started his career not in a boardroom, but on the workshop floor — hands covered in grease, working alongside craftsmen, learning the very essence of lockmaking from the ground up.
He didn't begin with grand titles or prestigious degrees. He began with curiosity, persistence, and a simple desire to understand: How does a lock truly work? What makes it reliable? What makes it last?
Years passed. He moved from the production line to the drawing board, designing locks with his own hands — not just for function, but for precision. He studied every mechanism, every material, every detail that could make a lock stronger, smoother, and more secure.
Then came the market. He stepped out of the factory and into the field, listening to customers, understanding real-world needs, and learning that a great lock isn't just engineered — it's built for people, for daily use, for the unexpected challenges of the road.
With that knowledge, he took the leap. In 2015, he founded Wenzhou Sende Lock Co., Ltd. — not to simply produce locks, but to redefine what a bicycle lock could be: a perfect balance of quality, design, and affordability.
Today, Sende produces over one million locks annually. Every product carries the spirit of that journey — from the workshop floor to the global market, from hands-on experience to innovative design.
